Diary for London to Istanbul Part II: Paris 2 Munich (800km in 6 days)..

The ride finished on Friday September 26 2008 what seems an incredibly tough and fast 6 days in the saddle.

This diary will be uploaded with more pictures as soon as we receive them.

Saturday September 20th – We know we’re on the Eurostar to our departure point…

Problems with only one tunnel open so trains once every 4 hours rather than every 15mins! Arghh!! Early start…Robin Ellis, Kelton Turvey and Paul Stevens convene at ungodly hour of 6am – Paula and Patricia of last year’s team show up to demonstrate some TLC whilst having dropped out of the challenge.

It’s sunny in Paris too..

That was a long ride on the train – let’s have lunch!

OK -  WE’RE READY. From now it’s only 800km to Munich

Sunday September 21thCoulommiers to St Dizier (120km)…

This is going to be easy………

Home-toasted nuts by Paula – this should keep us going, and happy!

The following pictures are proof of our team cycling far and fast, and having plenty of breaks and good weather.

Thursday 24th“ this day almost finished us…Kelton’s words at 11pm! We’ve heard they’re flying, but making insanely long days …
